Roy A. Corbin -2010 / 2011 Chapter President
Roy has been employed by Tyler Technologies / CLT division for the last 12 years, and is a Senior Commercial Review Appraiser working on the Cobb County project. Roy has over 25 years experience valuing real property, both residential and commercial. He is a graduate of Kennesaw State University with a B.B.A. in Economics and Finance, and is currently licensed with the State of Georgia as a Certified Residential Appraiser. Roy is a candidate member of the Atlanta Chapter of the American Society of Appraisers since 2003, Roy is currently working towards the ASA designation.
Cynthia White, ASA 2010 / 2011 Executive Vice President
Cynthia N. White holds the Accredited Senior Appraiser designation in Machinery & Technical Specialties with the American Society of Appraisers. Ms. White joined American Appraisal Associates, Inc. in 1990 and is currently a consultant for the Atlanta Industrial Valuation Group specializing in the valuation of machinery and equipment. Ms. White is also registered with the State of Georgia as a State of Georgia, Registered Real Property Appraiser.
Edward Biggs, ASA 2010 / 2011 Chapter Vice President
Edward Biggs holds the Accredited Senior Appraiser designation in Machinery and Technical Specialties with the American Society of Appraisers. Ed is the principal of the firm Biggs Appraisal Service which specializes in the valuation of Railroad and Railcar equipment. Ed has over 30 years of experience in this field. Ed also serves the chapter as a mentor for candidates who are actively persuing the AM or ASA designation.

Andrew Becker, ASA 2010 / 2011 Chapter Treasurer
Andrew Becker, an Accredited Senior Appraiser with the American Society of Appraisers since 1989 and past 2-term Atlanta Chapter #3 President is employed by Gordon Brothers LLC, an international appraisal organization headquartered in Boston with offices in Atlanta, and 18 cities worldwide.
In this position with Gordon Brothers, he works on appraisals, acquisition and sales of a wide range of assets, including inventory, real estate, and industrial assets. Mr. Becker started his appraisal career in 1983 specializing in the valuation of machinery and equipment and is designated in Machinery & Equipment (MTS) and is committed to the local ASA chapter.
Katherine Morris, ASA 2010 / 2011 Membership Coordinator
Kate Morris is an Accredited Senior Appraiser in Business Valuation with fourteen years of valuation experience and is currently performing independent contract services. Ms. Morris provides valuation analyses of business and intangible assets for financial reporting; estate and gift tax reporting; merger and acquisition planning; and in the context of litigation and property tax disputes. Through the course of her career, she has performed analyses in a wide variety of industries including: healthcare, technology and management consulting, telecommunications, finance, insurance, hospitality, retailing, and manufacturing. |
